Rugby Training, Periodization and Game Analysis Articles

The following current articles written by co-author Frederick Claro through the last few years are a good start up for a better periodization and ergogenesis understanding of the game of rugby. All these topics are discussed in much more in-depth detail in the book Periodization in Rugby, the first ever written analysis made on the subject of periodizing rugby training. Although the concepts are known to most High Performance Coaches, the information remains poorly relayed to grassroots and amateur rugby levels. The intent of the authors was to bridge this gap and bring a scientifically proven sport training systematic approach to all interested parties from amateur to professionnal players and teams.
All articles presented herein and the book are written using simple language to bring sometimes complex concepts to the light of simplicity. This has been written for players and coaches, and  not for university professors, to ensure the messages are understood and are well-assimilated.
